Each year over 2,500 deaths are attributed to alcohol overdose in Georgia, with another 1,000 attributed to opioid use. In fact, Georgia has one of the highest rates of opioid prescriptions – 71 per every 100 people, compared to the national average of 59 per 100. It can be extremely hard for residents of Georgia to escape from the influence of addiction and substance abuse.
Fortunately, help can be found in one of the many state-of-the-art rehabilitation centers found in Georgia. With warm weather, access to mountains and lakes, and a range of treatment options, Georgia rehabilitation centers have been the answer to many searching for a new, addiction-free life.
